Pergolas in Mykonos with Eucalyptus timber

Pergolas

We completed the project with pergolas in Mykonos with eucalyptus timber with success. Our team installed the pergolas in 6 days, as we carried out much of the work in our carpentry workshop, where we prepared parts of the construction.

We created 5 pergolas from eucalyptus timber in Mykonos. Both the basic timber and the shading timber were treated with tanalith-E impregnation for exterior use, further enhancing its resistance to the effects of time.

Eucalyptus, with its durability and natural beauty, is an ideal choice for pergola timber. It offers a unique and natural beauty to any space. With its natural appearance creates a uniquely authentic space. Its natural colour, in a shade of light brown-brown, is in perfect harmony with the natural environment. The logs usually show small, sparse cracks and knots. Each eucalyptus log is unique, just like the patterns and colours offered by nature. This extreme uniqueness gives the exterior a distinct sense of personality.

One of the biggest challenges of this project was the installation of wooden elements, the total length of which reached 12 metres. The timber have a round cross-section with an irregular structure. This needed special handling for precise positioning and absolute accuracy when connecting. Despite this challenge, we completed all connections with custom brackets, ensuring durability and safety.

Our careful work and the use of natural eucalyptus timber, in collaboration with Bobotis + Bobotis architects, led to an impressive result that embodies our dedication to excellence and achieving impressive results in every construction we undertake.
