The concept behing the design
The origin of Oblique was not a design, but a leftover in a carpentry workshop. With a subtle tilt of the head, roughly twenty degrees, its form revealed itself: sharp, irregular, unexpectedly balanced.
From that moment of observation emerged a geometry that challenges alignment. An off‑axis hexagon that rejects static order and introduces a sense of movement and tension within the space. The pattern unfolds through this slight deviation, a deliberate “misalignment” that becomes a design language.
Oblique operates as a study in perception: how something secondary, almost accidental, can become the starting point for a rigorously structured composition. A floor that does not impose itself, but gently shifts the way we perceive the space.
