Premium Pine Timber stands out as one of the most outstanding materials for outdoor use, primarily due to its resistance to biological attacks. In other words, it is a high-quality softwood that is highly durable and suitable for outdoor applications. It is available as both solid (Solid Premium Pine) and laminated timber (Laminated Premium Pine).
Features
Properties: Above all, it is a heavy and hard coniferous wood with a high sap content. Additionally, it is firm and elastic, showing no significant shrinkage, and is strong and durable. It is strong, stable, and robust, with a high degree of hardness and resistance to brittleness. Furthermore, its impregnation with the material Tanalith-E ensures longevity. Tanalith-E is completely safe, not only for humans but also for the environment.
Appearance: Not only do the heart and the sapwood have a different coloring, but the heartwood and sapwood are also both light yellow to reddish-yellow. The heartwood, when fresh, has a reddish-brown tint, while over time, it takes on a golden-brown tint. Additionally, it is resinous, with annual rings and a uniform texture.
Workability: Although the wood is extremely durable, processing requires specialized techniques. After all, there is an identified risk of splitting during processing. It is worth noting the necessity of pre-drilling.
Moisture: Moreover, the wood has a low moisture content and is also resistant to weather conditions, without reacting significantly to the elements.
Density: This timber has a density of approximately 570 to 650 Kg/m³. Depending on the region of origin, it is dense and, at the same time, lightweight.
