Residential complex in Filothei

The new residential complex in Filothei was clad on its facades with Western Red Cedar timber on a total surface of 224 m2. Located in a pine forested area of Athens with wonderful views, the Cedar is in harmonious balance with the rest of the building’s materials (concrete, marble) and the natural environment.

This particular type of timber is resistant to time and humidity. It is dimensionally stable and is not easily attacked by fungi and wood-eating insects. In terms of appearance, it is a wood that can be applied everywhere, as it has a mild colour and watery and very small knots.
