Pergolas in Naxos island

Our company visited the BAU exhibition in Munich. Since 2013 our company’s presence at this exhibition has been continuous. Our aim is to stay up to date with the latest developments in terms of materials and installation and design systems.

Our company undertook the supply and installation of a Deck with Teak Burma F.E.Q. timber in Mykonos. The planks are 170mm wide and have been installed with hidden support.

The participation of our company in the Xenia 2022 exhibition was completed. The exhibition lasted three days, during which we met with professionals from the hospitality industry, as well as with architects, interior designers and manufacturers from all over Greece. We had the opportunity to present them with innovative and up-to-date solutions in the field of wood applications, as well as innovative products for the construction and decoration of indoor and outdoor spaces. The successful tourist season of 2022 has created new needs in the construction sector, with industry professionals wanting to evolve their businesses and make them more competitive. Our company is at the forefront of developments, offering the most innovative proposals, so that every professional can implement the construction that will add value to their business.

The wooden cladding project on the island of Milos is completed. We clad the external walls and the external roof with boards and part of the internal roof with smaller cross-section beams. The wood chosen for this construction is Red Western Cedar. This type of timber is No. 1 choice for interior designers and builders. It is one of the few woods that combine unique appearance and very good physical properties. In this particular project, Cedar offers a stunning appearance, with mild almost level waters and durability over time as it will not be affected by moisture. Cedar has a natural resistance to water absorption. In addition, it is not in danger of warping or shrinking, as it has very good dimensional stability.

Escape View is located in the mountainous Fterno, with a unique view of Nidri and the islands of the area. Eucalyptus poles, treated for use in an outdoor environment, were placed on all pergolas. Poles are a key point in the overall aesthetic effect as they are a completely natural material, which is in harmony with the wider environment. Their natural colour is mild and shows slight variations, which enhances their naturalness. At the same time, it is a very durable wood. Thanks to the treatment it has undergone, it will not be attacked by fungi and wood-eating insects. In this project, the poles perfectly meet the need for shading and decoration in a very elegant way.

The construction of pergolas in a private residence in Skiathos has been completed. Western Red Cedar timber was chosen for main beams and for shading, solid western red cedar timber. Cedar is a wood with amazing properties. It is extremely resistant to moisture and has very good mechanical properties. Laminated timber in general allows us to construct pergolas with large spans. In addition, Cedar is a naturally beautiful wood that adds aesthetic value to every application!
